The following institutions support SATEFL in promoting the professional development of EFL teachers by taking out institutional membership.

INTO Scotland- Pathways into university. We are an official language school at Glasgow Caledonian University. offering academic and English Language for International students. Our courses are fuly accredited by the university and offer students a guaranteed place on their chosen Undergraduate or Graduate course on successful completion of their chosen pathways studies. We offer a wide range of courses to suit every academic level including Pre-Masters English and our Foundation First- Year University equivalent certifiacte offering direct entry onto year 2 of an Undergraduate degree at Glasgow Caledonian University. In addition to this, from 2009 INTO Scotland will be offering bother Campus Year Abroad and Study Abroad with English Programmes.

CELT was set up at the University of Stirling in 1981. We offer a one year Undergraduate foundation course, Short English Langauge courses year round and pre-sessional English for university course from April to September. We also offer BA degrees in English as a Foreign Language Teaching and English and Business, Masters degrees in TESOL and Computer Applications for Language Learning and Phds by research.

For 70 years Basil Paterson Edinburgh has welcomed students of all nationalities to a wide range of English Language courses. Our dedicated staff ensure that each student has the most enjoyable and productive stay.

Regent Edinburgh is in Queen Street, right in the centre of Edinburgh's Georgian New Town. We are 2 minutes walk from Princes Street, Edinburgh's main shopping street and we have fantastic views over the river to the hills of Fife. In the school the Common Room has computers, a wireless network, daily newspapers, vending machines with hot and cold drinks, a free water cooler, TV, study tables and comfortable seating. The Student Study Centre has computers with interactive software; study books, DVDs and novels to borrow. Students are taught and supported by committed and enthusiastic fully qualified staff with a passion for teaching, in small classes (maximum 12, usually smaller).The structure of the programme involves class study supported by a variety of learning tools as well as time for self study and conversation practice. Courses start every Monday; students can join at any time and stay as long as they want. We can help with accommodation.

ECS Scotland is a small, independent school in Edinburgh. It specialises in small group and one-to-one courses for people who need to communicate well in English for work or study. ECS Scotland is committed to providing students with quality learning and a rich cultural experience.

TESOL Training Scotland offers the Trinity College London DipTESOL to suitable qualified and experienced teachers of ESOL of EFL currently working in Scotland. Our online course runs over 9 months, with face to face Saturday workshops at regular intervals.
