Membership is open to any individual interested in the object of the SATEFL Association, subject to payment of the annual subscription. For 2010/2011 this is £20.00 for ordinary members and £10 for students, part time teachers teaching under ten hours a week and the unemployed. Membership entitle the member to attend SATEFL meetings free of charge and to receive SATEFL announcements containing information about forthcoming events and EFL news.

Teaching Institutions can apply for institutional membership and recieve discounts of 10% for 5-9 members or 20% for 10 or more members. Membership of SATEFL is a good way to promote proffesional development of staff, and in addition, institutions can apply to link their website to the SATEFL Website and can also access CVs and post vacancies via the jobshop.
