in the USA, Spain and Brazil. Extensive work in social semiotics and
systemic functional linguistics, with special interests in language and
cultural context, in multimodal semiotic structures of everyday discourses
and spoken and written academic genres; research also on educational
linguistics, business language, translation studies, linguistic stylistics
and Australian language, literature and culture.
