TESOL Scotland 21st Annual Conference Proceedings

15th November 2003, University of Abertay Dundee

"Englishes - Whose English?" Proceedings

Speakers' summaries

From the Editor

Nearly 200 people gathered at the University of Abertay Dundee for the 2003 TESOL Scotland conference, including delegates, stewards and exhibitors. Mario Rinvolucri came up from Canterbury by overnight bus and Rebecca Freeman Field flew in from the USA! Of the other presenters, Vesna Vyroubal came from Croatia and Marnie Holborow from Dublin. So it could be said that the conference had a very wide reach. The varied programme also attracted delegates from all sorts of other places and the usual meeting-old-friends atmosphere pervaded. Regular up-dates on the internet meant that there was much more pre-conference information for anyone interested.

The summaries presented here are arranged in programme order. I hope you enjoy this memento of a good day in Dundee.
